Our thanks to all at Le rassemblemont who made us welcome, it was good to see old friends and some new faces.
Our ride down from Cherbourg was without any major problem, just a diesel pipe leaking on Geoffreys bike.
The ride back was made without any problem at all, we all achieved great fuel economy following Geoffrey on his diesel bike, My bike achieved 203 miles for 10 litres petrol (324kms for 10 litres) 32.4kms per litre. something I have not had since I have modified the engine.
SUnday night we stayed at Alencon at a Campomile hotel, with hot showers and clean beds, which after a week camping was welcome.
Monday a steady drive to the Ferry
Again thanks from the six of us who travlled to your rally.
we look forward to next year (but don't order the frost at night)
